The Seattle Film Institute is truly committed to our students, and the 40 Week Full Immersion Filmmaking Program is designed toward preparing them for professional careers. The following outlines the application process.

Admission to the program is based on the material requested below. To further assist us in determining the student’s potential for success in our program, we also recommend that all applicants, if possible, visit the school or arrange a phone interview with our staff.

- $100.00 application fee.
- 2-3 page application essay consisting of an autobiography and your plans and hopes for the future.
- 2 letters of Recommendation. Please note: Letters can be submitted with the application or mailed separately.
- Resume detailing work history and education.
- Optional: Portfolio of relevant creative work (script, sample reel, photographs, etc). Please note: Submitted work will not be returned - do not send originals.
