About Seattle Film Institute
The Seattle Film Institute, founded in 1994, offers the largest full time film program in the Northwest. Our program is well-known for both the small size of our classes and our commitment to hands-on education. Faculty members at the Seattle Film Institute are more than dedicated teachers--they are also experienced professionals in their chosen fields.
The large inventory of equipment provided by the Seattle Film Institute means that from Final Cut Pro to Arriflex cameras, students have access to all the tools they need to produce professsional quality results.
SFI is centrally located in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle and is less than 10 minutes from downtown.
