Lighting for Films - the Interview
DATE & TIME Sunday March 19, 9AM-6PM
INSTRUCTOR Simpson, Terry
TOTAL CLASS HOURS 9
Whether it's a documentary or a business promo, beautifully lit “photographic” interviews are the norm in the professional film and video world--this is where the term “high production values” begins to show up in your work. This hands-on workshop is meant to give you the skill and the tools you will need to ace this look, with practice in each set-up. In the morning we will focus on getting the subject right, and in the afternoon, we will attend to backgrounds and working in mixed color temperatures.
You should take this workshop if you have a basic understanding of 3-point lighting techniques, professional lighting fixtures, know how to set up and use a c-stand, and have a working knowledge of color temperature and using gels in mixed lighting situations.
