The prospect of working long, tiring hours, but being able to see at the end the creation I've constructed with my crew is something well worth the work for me. Whether it's documentary or fiction, you feel as though you're giving birth to something.
You feel proud for how far your film has come, you've prepared it; done the best you can for it, and now it's time to send it off into the world to be judged and criticized.
