There are times when I simply do not have enough hours in the day to give the full attention that my work here requires, why must we sleep?

Teen Filmmakers Program

Summer Teen Program

  • STP-A: June 21 - July 2, 2010: Tuition: $790
  • STP-B: July 5 - 16, 2010: Tuition: $790
  • STP-C: July 26 - August 6, 2010: Tuition: $790

Monday through Friday 9am-2pm
Age appropriate groups from 13-18

The Summer Teen Program concentrates on developing skills in film and video production. This intensive two week program culminates with students completing a final project on video. Students will also have the unique opportunity to shoot on film while learning about the special qualities of film and the actual differences between film and video.

The program provides a practical foundation for filmmaking skills--lighting, camera, composition, and editing. Students take full responsibility for their projects as they write the scripts, prepare storyboards, and finally shoot the project. At the end of the session, each student will take home a DVD copy of the final projects completed during the class. The tuition includes use of film and video equipment, textbook, film, and processing.

Advanced Filmmaking for Teens

ATP-A: August 9 - 20, 2010
Monday through Friday 9am-2pm

Tuition: $790.00

Advanced Filmmaking for Teens is open to those students who have completed the Summer Teen Program (this year or in previous years) or have previous video experience. Take the skills you've learned and put them to work with either a large collaborative class project, or test out those experimental and innovative ideas you have with the help of a group of dedicated classmates. As always, you'll leave class with a final day screening and a DVD of the work you've done.
